Are Scott McGillivray And Debra Salmoni In A Relationship? His Net Worth & How Much Money Does The C

As stated above, Scott McGillivray has a high net worth and earned a lot from Income Property.

The entire run of Income Property was very successful, with the first nine seasons having 13 episodes each and running over three or four months. There would often be two seasons per year, with three or four months in between. For example, if a season started in early April, it would end by late May or early June, and the following season would only start in early September.

According to various sources, the show ended because McGillivray felt he couldn’t do other stuff due to Income Property’s schedule.

So, the show ended in 2016. However, his television career post Income property has been pretty fruitful too. After the show ended, McGillivray got busy with other shows. His first show post-Income property was Moving the McGillivrays in 2016.

This show saw the television host, his wife, and his daughters buy and renovate a house into one they’d live in forever. It aired on HGTV Canada, and the McGillivrays ended up choosing a fixer-upper they then tore down due to reno costs to build their dream home.

The next show on McGillivray’s television history was 2018’s Buyers Bootcamp with Scott McGillivray. Instead of helping buyers turn their new property purchases into income properties, he helped buyers renovate and flip properties.

The pilot for the show aired in 2016 on HGTV Canada, where he helped owners choose a property to buy, renovate, and flip for a profit. However, the US version of the show showed him as a partner that helped renovate and flip. The show only aired for one season.

The most recent show McGillivray has been involved with is Vacation House Rules in 2020. Many people saw this as a spiritual successor to Income Property, but in a unique way.

What made this show unique is that the homes featured on the show are all vacation cottages.

McGillivray once again helps the owners renovate them into upscale investment vacation rentals. The show has proved very successful and just finished its third season in the Spring of 2022. The show’s fourth season is being produced and will probably be released sometime next year.

The network is also prepping for McGillivray’s upcoming project, 2023’s Renovation Resort.

This show will see the television host team up with Bryan Baeumier, Canada’s Handyman Challenger co-host, as they turn McGillivray’s recently purchased lakeside resort into a vacation rental. The property, as it stands, is a total wreck, and the show’s draw will be how the two turn the wreck into a resort.

The show is set to premiere in Spring 2023 on HGTV Canada. Baeumier was chosen because he has experience in the subject matter, similar to his other shows, Island of Bryan and Renovation Island, which both show him turning a bad property into a resort.

The show is set to run for seven episodes and will feature four teams of contractor-designer duos that McGillivray and Baeumier will advise.

It is also set as a competition, with the winner getting an as-of-yet unannounced grand prize.

Scott McGillivray’s Other Series

Scott McGillivray has peppered his successful television career with many other shows.

The first of these shows reaches back to 2003’s Debbie Travis’ Facelift, where he got his staff and a crew member.

The show lasted until 2005, but he impressed Travis so much that he ended up a project manager on her home improvement reality show, From the Ground Up, in 2006.

The next year, he moved up some more when he, alongside Kim Myles, co-hosted 2007’s Holiday Battle on the Block HGTV.

The show was a homeowner competition show for the best holiday-decorated home. McGillivray continued his co-hosting with perhaps his biggest show outside of Income Property, All American Handyman, which ran from 2010 to 2012 he co-hosted with Mile Holmes.

Once that series ended, he judged Canada’s version of it in Canada’s Handyman Challenge, which ran from 2012 to 2014. He had Mike Holmes, Bryan Baeumier, and Paul LaFrance as co-hosts.

After Canada’s Handyman Challenge ended, he became a judge for 2014’s Flipping the Block, where he rated four couples’ renovation abilities as they played in a home flipping competition.

McGillivray judged alongside David Bromstad and Nicole Curtis, with the show hosted by Josh Temple. Most recently, the television host showed up as a guest renovator on HGTV Canada’s Home to Win. In the show, he renovated a house for the winning family selected by the producers. Lastly, McGillivray has a podcast called The Real Estate Rebel.
